My Experience with Maybelline Fit Me Concealer:

I bought this concealer along with the foundation from the same range, which I have recently reviewed. Unlike the foundation that comes in a large variety of shades, the concealer is only available in 6 shades.
That is why it was a little hard for me to narrow down to just one shade that would work well for my skin tone.

Out of the 6 shades available, some of them have pink undertones and some have yellow undertones. If you find the exact match in terms of undertone and shade in this concealer, then I think that it would work wonderfully to cover and correct blemishes and scars on the face. However, I chose the shade Medium (25) among the ones available. This shade is quite obviously lighter than my skin tone (and has pinkish undertones), and so, I cannot use it to cover up imperfections. I basically picked this one up for under the eyes.

Now, I have pretty intense dark circles. So I can’t just pick up a lighter-toned, highlighting concealer in the hope that it will brighten my eyes. I almost always have to use a peach corrector first. After that, I apply this concealer under my eyes for added coverage and for the brightening effect. And it works!

This is a very light concealer that does not cake up at all. At the same time, it provides medium to full coverage and can definitely be built up. I find that it is very pigmented and that a little bit of product (literally very little) goes a long way, so you never need to use too much at once.

Again, if you find the right shade(s), this is an excellent all-round concealer- for under the eyes as well as for blemishes and discolourations. It is light, creamy, provides good coverage and does not cake up.

If you can’t find the exact shade to match your skin tone, then I’d suggest working with a couple of shades to find the best match. The applicator is a doe-foot one. I apply a little bit of product with the applicator directly under my eyes and then blend it out with my fingers.I also use this concealer as a highlighter across my face- down the bridge of my nose and on my cheekbones. So, if you pick a lighter shade, this concealer can certainly double up as a creamy liquid highlighter. It is also said that this formula is a dupe for the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, but since I’ve never used that one, I can’t say.
